Our Story
With a background in graphic design and a lifelong love of baking, our founder, Juliet, combined her background in graphic design and her passion for baking cakes and biscuits into a blossoming bakery business.
She is a self-taught baker who first started decorating cakes and icing biscuits as a hobby on her kitchen table. In those early days in the Dorset village where she lived, she baked for family birthdays and school fetes– any occasion that let her share a bit of homemade joy.
As requests from friends and family grew more frequent, Juliet realised she had something special. This passion transformed Juliet from a creative mum with a knack for icing and baking into the founder of the company today that thousands of people across the UK have enjoyed.
Juliet Stallwood Biscuits officially opened its doors in 2012. As demand grew, Juliet outgrew the home kitchen – moving first into a small room above the local village shop with just one employee, then to a converted barn and eventually into a dedicated bakery facility in the Dorset countryside.
Today the business is very much a family affair: Juliet works alongside her two sons, Sam and Ben, who have been integral in helping the company grow. Together, they and their team bake, ice, and ship thousands of biscuits, all while maintaining that warm, personal touch of a home-grown bakery. Juliet still designs all of the biscuit collections herself and uses 3D printers to make the biscuit cutters, bringing her imaginative creations to life.

Our team believes that an iced biscuit can be the perfect gift to make someone smile, so we produce an array of unique designs to cater for everyone, young or old, We provide biscuit boxes for all sorts of different occasions such as birthdays, weddings and seasonal holidays to sets that include cats and dogs, gardening, retirement and sports.
Every biscuit is handmade from oven to box and finished with its own unique touch, ensuring that the person receiving it feels it was made just for them. We also take pride in sourcing ingredients locally and using eco-friendly packaging, so quality is assured from the moment a box leaves our door to the very last bite you take. Our mission is simple: “Bite into happiness.” We aim to spread joy, one deliciously hand-iced biscuit at a time.
Our artisan biscuits have caught the eye of Britain’s top stores. We’ve been fortunate to supply bespoke baked goods to high-end retailers including Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, John Lewis, and brands such as Virgin and Stella McCartney, amongst many others.
